DOROTHY POTTER SNYDER

 Experienced. Knowledgeable. Patient.

I'm an experienced Spanish language professor. I hold a BA from Yale University and an MFA from Sewanee: The University of the South. From 1989-2000, I was the Administrator and Language School Coordinator of the non-profit Latin American Workshop in New York City. Currently, I teach all clases online via Zoom.

Among my language class clients are Einstein College of Medicine, Catholic Medical Centers, New York Medical College, IBM, Healthy Start Academy (Durham, NC), I designed the pilot online synchronous Spanish program at The New School in New York City and created the curriculum for the nation's only certified Spanish course for the U.S. Lactation Consultants Association.

My literary translations and writing have been published in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and I have contributed to many editorial projects relating to Spanish language and culture. Organizations I have collaborated with include:
