I'm a Spanish language coach with 25 years of experience teaching individual and group Spanish classes. I hold a BA from Yale University and an MFA from Sewanee: The University of the South. From 1989-2000, I was the Administrator and Language School Coordinator of the non-profit Latin American Workshop in New York City.
I've designed and taught programs for Einstein College of Medicine, Catholic Medical Centers, New York Medical College, Jacobi Hospital, and IBM, among others. I designed the pilot online synchronous Spanish program at The New School in New York City and created the curriculum for the nation's only certified Spanish course for the U.S. Lactation Consultants Association.
My literary translations have been published in the US, Canada, and Israel and I have contributed to numerous editorial projects relating to Spanish language and culture, including with:
