TRANSLATION

I am a translator, ES <> EN. I work primarily with literary texts, focusing on Mexico and Spain. I am not an interpreter (live translator of spoken speech). I offer transcriptions or summaries of audio in Spanish and subtitling.

I approach translation as "transcreation", conveying meaning accurately while rendering voice and style artfully.

Some of my published translations are by writers Mónica Lavín (Mexico), Almudena Sánchez (Spain), and poets Antonio Carvajal (Spain), Juan Carlos Garvayo (Spain) and Oscar Gonzáles (Colombia).
